Cannot lie, I am very confused by all these 'adoptables' going around. What is? What? Just what? I saw an image clearly done in MLP cartoon style with a note saying "You cannot copy my drawing style".
And I'm like, "I can. You are wrong. This is a false thing that you have said. I will get my pencils and prove this to you right now." I learned everything I have by copying. I was not born able to cartoon.
So what have I missed? What is this new art game?

I think it's for people who want a character but either don't think they can design one or they like a particular artist's style more than their own. Not really sure since I've always done everything for myself.
