Best wishes to all fellow Frenziers this April. I currently stand at 46 pages.
For those that don't know it, Script Frenzy is an offshoot of NaNoWriMo, happens in April, and is a personal challenge to write 100 pages of script before the end of the month. It's free to take part, no rules except to get to 100 pages and have loads of fun, and the prize is 100 pages of script and a big ol' sense of achievement. www.scriptfrenzy.org
I signed myself up for it, then worried and thought I wouldn't be able to do it, and then on April 1st sat down to write a script based on life in theatre school...and ended up with 13 pages of a story about a fallen angel in a launderette in Bedminster.
I'm not quite sure where it's going, but I'm thinking less about that and more about writing. A few days ago my laptop screen committed suicide, and I'm now working on my boyfriend's laptop, in a sticky transition from Windows to Mac, waiting for a new laptop to arrive. Ai...it'll all be worth it when the BBC commissions me as a script writer. Yup. Definitely.
